About Me. 👋

Hi, I am Holly, a multifaceted content creator, marketing researcher, and video director and strategist I have four years of experience in content creation, two years in marketing, and a background in video production. I started my career in China at a top MCN, where I managed video production and content analysis, helping influencers grow their followings to millions. I also built my own food blog on China’s TikTok, gaining millions of followers. Later, I worked as a creative director at Onion Video, producing viral content with millions of views.

Now, after graduating with a Master’s in Advertising from Boston University, I’m working as a Marketing Assistant at Montague Bikes. My focus is on digital marketing—everything from paid media and content creation to strategy development and analysis.

Through my experience, I’ve learned that sustainable content requires a data-driven approach. With years of content analysis behind me, I know that every platform depends on data to inform decisions. I’ve taught myself SQL, and Tableau, and am proficient in Excel, making me a versatile marketer who combines creativity with data insights to deliver clear, impactful messages.

The creative process is all about simplifying complexity—distilling the core idea and presenting it in the most straightforward, impactful, and engaging way. From market research, we sift through vast amounts of information to extract key insights, focusing on one central idea to build the strategy. The ultimate goal is to communicate the key message effectively. It’s all about simplifying. A simple message, when repeated enough, becomes the heart of communication, regardless of the medium or form.

I believe simplicity is a form of power. It’s not just something I apply to my work but also to my life. Simplicity is the ability to focus on what truly matters and to approach tasks with directness, efficiency, and clarity. It’s a mindset—a way of living.
